The Sea Witch

“The Legend of the Sea Witch” is based on some true events and mystical legends, and we’ve created a cast of soon-to-be iconic characters on sea-faring adventures.

Six grad students and their professor head to the Bahamas for spring break to explore underwater caves and unexpectedly become entangled in the hunt for a legendary pirate’s treasure. Their carefree vacation quickly descends into terror. The film pays homage to classic spring-break comedies and horror movies from the 1980s and 1990s.

Production will cover all round-trip airfare (to and from the Bahamas), accommodations, and meals.

This is a non-union production seeking individuals with huge personalities and some type of social media presence. You do not need to be a trained actor—we’re looking for talented people who want the opportunity to have a “work-cation.”

Overall Note: This film is an ode to 1980s–1990s spring break adventure/comedy/horror movies, with some topless-only nudity and some fully clothed make-out scenes.

Key Creative Team

Robert Wilson – Producer / Director

A veteran filmmaker with hundreds of hours of film and television to his credit. He has produced series such as Cobra Kai, Queen of the South, and the hit dramedy Drop Dead Diva. As a director, his credits include Drop Dead Diva, Cobra Kai, and many more.

Deiter Bush – Producer

With over 25 years in film and television, Deiter has worked as a world-class Assistant Director and producer. His credits range from feature films to large-scale content for Las Vegas’s landmark attraction, The Sphere.

Rich Hobaica – Producer / Art Department

A 30+ year veteran of the film industry, Rich has served as a production designer and prop master and has worked across virtually every role in the art department, as well as producing.

Kevin Berg – Assistant Director

Considered one of the best Assistant Directors in the business and a key part of this team for a decade. He’s the “glue guy,” with credits including Cobra Kai, Obliterated, and many others.

Joshua Dupree – Producer

A seasoned industry veteran who has worked with Robert (“Bob”) Wilson for over 20 years. Joshua is a versatile, “do-everything” producer.

Abe Martinez – Director of Photography

Abe’s cinematography credits include Cobra Kai, The Lincoln Lawyer, Obliterated, and others.

Clint Adderly – Bahamas Liaison / Locations

Born and raised in the Bahamas, Clint is the production’s go-to expert on all things Bahamian. A longtime friend of Bob’s, he has worked in locations in the U.S. and has been on the ground with Bob for all location scouting in the Bahamas.
